I have read several of his books and he writes with a style that is very relevant to our generation. This book is the start of what I think will be the next "Harry Potter" series. Even though the main character is younger than I am, I still feel like I connect and relate to him on a personal level. We all dreamed as kids of seeing the world through a "bug's eyes" and this book literally transports the reader into that world as the denizens of Carpenter mound struggle to defend their home from the horrible mutated insects bent on destroying their home and a young boy who lives in the home residing on the endangered lawn holds the secret to saving them all. This is a great read for anyone who is looking to fill the gap left behind by the end of the Harry Potter/Hunger Games series.
Great job Mr Suggs! I can't wait to pick up part two!
